About Char Dham Yatra 2025
The pilgrimage circuit known as Char Dham Yatra is the pilgrimage to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. These places are the holiest of temples in Uttarakhand. They are so sacred that millions of Hindus visit them to free themselves of their sins. Chardham Yatra takes place every year during April and ends in September-October. Temple priests of these temples announce the opening and closing dates of these temples. Tourists not only visit these temples but also some famous places in Uttarakhand in this Yatra.
These four ancient temples also marks the spiritual source of four sacred rivers as well: RIVER YAMUNA finds its source at Yamunotri, the RIVER ALAKNANDA springs forth from Badrinath, the HOLY GANGA or Ganges originates at Gangotri, and the RIVER MANDAKINI flows from Kedarnath.

Tour Plan
01
Day 1: DEHRADUN - HARIDWAR
Pick up from Dehradun Airport, Transfer to Haridwar, evening visit Gangarathi Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 2: HARIDWAR TO BARKOT (135 KM/ 4:30 HRS.)
The morning after breakfast, drive to Barkot. En-route Lunch, on arrival at Barkot check-in hotel, Dinner, Overnight stay at Barkot

Day 3: BARKOT - YAMUNOTRI - BARKOT
Early breakfast drive to Janki Chatti and then to Yamunotri. You can cover the trekking Distance either by walking or riding a horse or on Doli (6 Km at your own cost). At Yamunotri Take a bath in Jamnabai Kund and dip raw rice or potato in Surya Kund, after Cooking use it as Prasad. Witness the mesmerizing view of Aarti offered to Divya Shila and to the main deity Yamunaji. Later drive back to Barkot for an overnight stay

Day 4: BARKOT - UTTARKASHI (82 KM / 03 HRS)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkashi for a night halt by covering a distance of approx. 100 Km in 4 hrs. Visit Vishwanath temple at Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI
After Early Breakfast drive to Gangotri. Which is located at an altitude of 3048 meters and Surrounded by snowcapped picturesque Himalayas. After offering prayer at Gangotri Temple explore the place. Don't forget to look at submerged Shivling of natural rock. Drive Back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: UTTARKASHI - SRINAGAR (148 / 05 Hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Srinagar. It is an approx. 148 kms in 5 hrs. Journey. On Arrival check in at hotel, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: SRINAGAR - BADRINATH (190 / 06 Hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Badrinath, after reaching check into hotel, later visit Badrinathji Temple, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: BADRINATH - PIPALKOTI (100 / 03 Hrs)
After Breakfast visit Mana village, later checkout at the hotel and drive to pipalkoti, Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: PIPALKOTI - SITAPUR (160 / 05 Hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Sitaput for night halt covering a distance of 160 Km, and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 10: SITAPUT - KEDARATH - SITAPUR
After early breakfast start to Kedarnath by walk/ pony/ dholi / helicopter (at your own cost), visit the temple, back to Sitapur, and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 11: SITAPUR
It’s a free day and also an extra day for people staying back in Kedarnath and for people going on walks or dolhi, the others can visit Gowrikund and Triyuginarayan temple (At your own cost ) Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 12: SITAPUR - RISHIKESH - HARIDWAR
After early breakfast start towards Haridwar, en route visit Rishikesh Ram Jula Laxman Jula, Geetha Bhavan, reach Haridwar, and Check into Hotel View Ganga Arthi (if you have not seen on day 1), Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 13: HARIDWAR LOCAL
After Breakfast start Haridwar local sightseeing, visit Manasa Devi temple, Geetha mandir, vyas mandir, Bharatha Mata mandir, and Pavan Dham, Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 14: DEHRADUN AIR PORT DROP
After breakfast drop to Dehradun airport according to flight timings, tour ends.

Important Notes:
- In case the client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days
before the journey date via e-mail/SMS.
- The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days
of travel date in writing). However, postponing & postponing a second time will attract additional charges.
- Also note that a few service providers (Hoteliers, transporters etc.) may apply to postpone/postpone charges even
after meeting the above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance
amount deposited.
- In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to the availability of Hotel/Volvo
and season/off-season time.
- We do not accept any changes in the plan within 15 days of the travel date. However in rare cases like adverse
climatic conditions or strikes, the package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
- The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance
payment.
- The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking
to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: To transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and
conditions first).

flight cancellations, rescheduling, or itinerary changes. SME Travels assists with flight changes, cancellations,
and refunds."
- No rooms are being blocked and hotel confirmation will be subject to availability upon booking.
